Tuesday Thoughts: Help Us Forgive
Ephesians 4: 32
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
My friend is gone-a mouse trap snap,
The sharp clean break leaves purple tracks
Of swollen bruises on my heart.
There are so many paths and ways,
To handle these aftermath days,
My secret soul knows where to start.
“To one another be ye kind,
Always keep forgiveness in mind,
Don’t forget My divine Son.
You crucified Him on the cross,
Although he came to save the lost,
Loved and forgave everyone.
Will you do any less for Me?
Forgive wrongs if you want to be,
Walking beside me keeping step.
And don’t forget, He rose again,
He overcame all of His pain,
He forgave all, did you forget?”
God, I am human, bruises sting,
Forgive like Jesus- the words sing,
But I can’t take another hit.
He brushes the tears from my eyes,
I’ll heal your heart, hold it high!
Keep forgiving others with it!
